Founded in 1780, Corney & Barrow is a global brand recognised for its long experience and the quality of its people and wine. While service values may be old-fashioned, Corney & Barrow is a colourful pioneer, not least in having invented wine broking, and this sometimes unexpected juxtaposition provides great scope for brand differentiation which Manifest has not been slow to exploit.

Manifest evolved the brand identity to introduce enhanced typographic purity and balance to better express the company’s pre-eminence in its field.

We were asked to expressed design a range of applications to express the brand and evolved identity including the annual wine list and vehicle livery.

We were asked to develop a visual identity for Corney & Barrow’s on-trade division which supplies wine to restaurants and other establishments. The identity we implemented provides a clear contrast to the more traditional typographic approach of the main brand to create a stronger presence in a hotly competitive market.

We were asked to design a livery for Corney & Barrow's fleet of vehicles and recommended using the opportunity to surprise people's expectations of the brand. There are both red and white wine versions.
