Castle’s success is built on the careful identification of land with development value, and from working closely with landowners and communities to secure the optimum planning solutions for all concerned.

With its clear reference to strips of land and boundaries, Castle’s brand identity referenced both the assets with which it works and its commitment to enhance the communities in which it operates. Manifest evolved the brand by introducing a brick orange square to locate building within its space. As well as clarifying the meaning of the visual identity, this subtle enhancement also provided a distinctive accent colour for use in printed and online communications.


Castle's clients tend to be private house owners rather than commercial developers and Castle's work inevitably engages the attention of local communities. To reflect the needs and sensitivities of these two audiences, we recommended using an approachable style and tone of voice that is deliberately non-corporate in feel to reflect Castle’s caring values, while providing a strong articulation of the firm’s offer, capabilities and achievements.
